A transfer moves registrar management of an existing domain. It does not itself move your website, mailboxes or website files. Keep the existing DNS service in place unless you deliberately choose to change it.
.co.uk and .uk transfers
Our UK transfers have no transfer-in fee. Start the transfer through your account when transfers are available, then follow the exact registrar tag instructions shown for that order. Do not guess a tag. We link the domain to your account only after the transfer and ownership checks succeed.
.com and .net transfers
Check that the domain is eligible for transfer, unlock it at your current registrar where required and obtain its authorisation code. Enter that code only in the secure transfer form. Registry restrictions, recent registrations, earlier transfers or registrant changes can affect eligibility.
A quote before commitment
For .com and .net, the checkout presents a current transfer quote and any term extension before you agree. It is separate from a new-registration price. Transfer completion can require action at your current registrar and is not instant.
Track progress
Your account shows the transfer state and any next step. Do not create repeated transfer orders while an earlier request is pending. Contact support if ownership details do not match or the transfer needs review.
